He holds a doctoral degree (SSBM, Geneva) based on research into the relationship between professional competencies and the impact professionals have at the beginning of their careers. He also holds a Master degree in the social sciences (University of Amsterdam) and a Bachelor degree in computer science (Applied Universty of The Hague). His doctoral research provides a foundation for understanding how individuals contribute to collective outcomes, and how collaboration can be structured to unlock that potential. He has developed his practical approach in his career as an independent consultant, interim manager and director of a medium-sized consultancy firm. His career has taken him through financial institutions, local and central governments and industry.Through analysis, advisory, and hands-on guidance, Boudewijn helps organizations identify and address the underlying factors that shape collaboration — including roles, competencies, decision processes, and professional interaction. His approach enables professionals and organizations to work together with greater clarity, effectiveness, and sustained impact.
